REQUEST A THERAPY VISIT
While our therapy teams visit various facilities serving historically underserved or disenfranchised youth, they are available for visits wherever unconditional love from an animal is needed. Facilities we currently visit include but are not limited to, after-school programs, domestic violence shelters, group homes, schools, libraries, residential treatment facilities and other shelter facilities.
TYPES OF VISITS
ANIMAL ASSISTED THERAPY TEAMS
The AAT teams provide animal-assisted goal-related activities that improve the quality of the child's life through the human-animal bond.
B.A.A.R.K!
Books Animals and Reading Kids! (B.A.A.R.K!) is our reading program that lends a non-judgmental ear to a struggling reader.
FRIENDLY VISITOR TEAM
The friendly visitor teams offer a calming presence with no planned activity, creating a comfortable environment for the child.
